Terms & Conditions
Any contract for sale of goods between Weighing Machines Services Ltd. and you will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with Irish Law in the Irish Courts. Goods purchased on this website remain the property of Weighing Machines Services Ltd. until payment in full has been received by Weighing Machines Services Ltd. We retain the right to cancel any order and refund any money paid by you. We will not except orders from outside of Ireland.
Secure Checkout
All credit card transactions are handled solely by STRIPE and not by Weighing Machines Services Ltd. No credit card information is collected or stored by Weighing Machines Services Ltd. at any stage in the checkout process or thereafter. Credit card information is transmitted directly to the banking network for authorisation via a Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which is standard Internet security for encrypting personal information so that it cannot be read. We believe this to be the most secure method of conducting online commercial transactions to date. Stripe accept most Cards, you will be charged in Euro.
VAT
All price exclude VAT. VAT is charged at applicable rate, which is normally 23% unless the product is VAT exempt. If you are a VAT exempt company please contact us to arrange a Zero Rate VAT invoice. Please note that you will have to forward us your VAT Exempt Certificate.
Delivery
Delivery is €10 on most products if you spend less than €200 otherwise it is free, for this option we use Fastway Couriers. Large products (over 25Kg per box) are dispatched on pallets with JMC Vans Transport standard pallets are €70 with oversized pallets €120 per pallet. We aim to deliver within 2-3 working days subject to availability of the product but this could take up to 15 working days. If your order is likely to be delivered outside of this timescale, we will contact you and offer an alternative product or a full refund.
Warranty
We offer a 12 month (from date of invoice) return to base warranty on all products sold. Weighing Machine Services Ltd. will not cover the any delivery cost for machines been returned for warranty work.
Returns / Canceled Orders
If you are not entirely satisfied with your ONLINE purchase you may return it to us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund which will be completed within 14 days of us receiving our goods back. All returns must be in a resalable condition complete with all packing, manuals & accessories. Your refund will be issued though STRIPE to the same card you used at time of purchase. We will NOT cover the cost to return your purchase. You should contact us before you return your purchase on info@weighingmachines.ie

WEEE Recycling / Take Back
Weighing Machine Services Ltd is committed to meeting the requirements of the European Union (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations 2014. These Regulations require producers of electrical and electronic equipment to finance the takeback of WEEE resulting from products that we place on the Irish market. This helps us to ensure that WEEE is reused or recycled safely. In line with that commitment Weighing Machine Services Ltd will take back WEEE from you. Please contact us for details.
You also have a role to play in ensuring that WEEE is reused and recycled safely. So, if you choose not to return WEEE to us then you should not dispose of it in your bin. The crossed out wheeled-bin symbol on the product reminds users not to dispose WEEE in the bin. You should ensure that the WEEE is collected separately and sent for proper treatment. WEEE contains hazardous substances and if not managed and treated safely it can cause pollution and damage human health.
